Marian Choral Society Tuam proudly presents ‘Little Women the Broadway Musical!’
Based on Louisa May Alcott's classic 1868 semi-autobiographical novel, with a book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, the story focuses on the four March sisters— traditional Meg, wild, aspiring writer Jo, timid Beth and romantic Amy,— and their beloved Marmee, at home in Concord, Massachusetts while their father is away serving as a Union Army chaplain during the Civil War. Intercut with the vignettes in which their lives unfold are several recreations of the melodramatic short stories Jo writes in her attic studio.
We are delighted to bring this show to the Tuam stage from 27th-31st October. Ronan Lardner directs and choreographs with the return of Shane Farrell as Musical Director. Audition details will be announced soon.
